Still bleeding. Boyfriend keeping me company so I don't break things in frustration. He is placating me with ice cream and cracker barrel vintage cheese.

Oh, he's still very muscly. :) He looks sexy when he either chops wood or stokes the fire place. Or, you know, breathes.

That sucks utterly. (The uterus thing, not the boyfriend - he sounds lovely.) Is this meant to be a "normal" side effect of the Mirena?

Uhm, it can happen. My Mum had an IUD in the seventies when they were much bigger and meaner things and had an awful time on them. The cramps were so bad she ripped it out herself. But she HAD had four kids by that time so her cervix was a little more resilient than mine. I haven't, so I would never do that, I'm not mad.

I'm waiting another week. If it's not calmed down by then, I'm making noises about getting it out.
