Been looking through my old Cheeto Run stuff. Am tempted to pump out a few of those before X3 hits the cinemas. I need to make the most of those Jean Grey comes back joke strips while I can. Thing is - would anyone even read them?

In other news, Lilly is adorable and gorgeous and I love her muchly. *kisses to Lilly*. There, wonder if I embarrassed her? :-P

Dear Santa

Dear Santa...

What I really *really* want for Christmas (actually before Christmas would be GREAT because I'm desperate here) is an old, old laptop from the turn of the millenia or even earlier.

It does not have to play awesome games.
It does not have to have awesome operating power.
I don't CARE what it can and cannot do. (I have a really old nokia mobile phone and it's FINE for me, it rings people and receives calls and I can sms people - all good).

What it must do:

- Run Wordpad
- Run a CD so I can listen to music while I write
- Have a little space for pictures for inspiration and
- Have the standard three or four games on it: Solitaire, Minesweeper and Freecell.

I can't seem to write in on the computer in the kitchen anymore. I need isolation and comfort. Can you imagine me? With my heatpack on my tummy when I'm sore, my laptop on my lap in my room, writing away like a madwoman, churning out fic like nobody's business?

Why have I turned into such a recluse, Santa? Sorry - I'll ask God that one, you're probably not one to know.

Anyway, I've been a *very* good girl this year and I even did the dishes.

Notes: It's not really finished, even though I said I finished it. I'm showing this to people now, in its less finished state. I'm stopping before I get too involved. I should probably spend more time on it but I figure if I do that then the big Voldemort Reveal for GoF will have taken place and I wanted to get this out before that. So yes, I rushed it. But honestly? If I work too hard on things, they lose their spontenaity.

I tried to make him the scariest thing I could draw. My niece was so scared of this picture, the poor thing shook every time I worked on it in front of her. Unfortunately I don't think that effect extends to people over the age of four! :) Enjoy!
