Doctor Who: Vincent and the Doctor
Jun. 6th, 2010 11:28 am- How can Bill Nighy be so awesome? I don't know. I don't know.
- "Ministry of Art... and artiness." Hmm, you can minister over me any time, Doctor. *wiggles brows*
- I like that Amy likes art. I like her more and more. Like, did I say like? I mean LOVE.
- PUSSACAT!!
- Amy, you utter adorable tart. Flirting with Van Gogh!!
- HAHAHA. Van Gogh on a caffeine rush. HILARIOUS.
- AHA. Big monster!
- The Doctor looking silly! Good God, that hasn't happened in a long time! :D
- "NOT THAT FAST!" Oh you dork. LOL!
- The budget cut is showing in the new gadgets, but somehow, like always, it's endearing.
- He is being SUCH A DORK this episode! It's nice to see so much of him, actually. I like the mention of the Aunt, too.
- AHAHA. Amy scared him!
- Oh, Amy. Poor, poor Amy. With the tears. This episode is also very important. Subtly, incredibly important.
- Oh Doctor, you back-seat painter. SHUT UP. LOL!
- Van Gogh: I love you. Me too, Vince, me too.
- Symbolism is quite important in this series.
- Shit, he just said "Rory"!
- Old, Doctor, but still smokin' and awesome.
- Doctor... you're so sweet.
- Okay, that scene, of Vincent explaining how he sees the sky? Absolutely beautiful. It just - wow.
- "This one makes everything go absolutely gonzo." I never thought I'd hear that phrase from the Doctor, but I'm so thrilled that I have.
- Okay I cried solidly for the last ten minutes of that episode, but it wasn't like when I cried when Ten regenerated. It just - I don't have words. As an artist, as someone that lives with depression, I just... It meant so much. So much. And I'm crying again.
I'm going to be a while. That episode was good.
