Becoming Leela is tough

logansrogueI'm learning how to do her make-up today, and her make-up was fairly minimal on the show. Mostly bronzing and shading. But the one thing that will amuse me about the costume is this:
I have much bigger boobs than the lovely Louise (who played Leela). Hers look to be a B or C cup at most. My jummlies are a bounteous D. Dancing around in her skimpy costume will be quite the sight, because I remember her nearly falling out of her costume a few times on the show. I also remember Mr. Baker copping a feel during the "OH NO WE'RE FALLING OVER!" scenes. Which always cracked me up mightily. He was a pretty equal opportunity dude though, I have screen shots of him canoodling with Andred too.
Anyway, I am trying out make-up, cleaning up cat-shit and cat food feeding areas then having a shower. Still not got a shampoo that pleases me yet. Am frowny.

Date: 2010-06-04 06:42 am (UTC)And darling, you have your own brand of gorgeous! Ivory skin and pixie features! I didn't realise how Mediterranean I look until I tried to do the Leela look. She's an English Rose, I'm not (more the wild Scot about me if anything from the area) so it's going to be up to the costume to seal the look-a-like-ness.
It's really great to talk to someone who's as into costuming as I am! :) And it's costuming that's not Anime. Anime costuming is great and all, but not my gig. :D
