It's such a bizarrely stupid concept that I can't even build up any real anger for it. It will, I can guarantee you, never be implemented.

That said, I think the same functionality could be useful in a differently-phrased context. Imagine a gaming community intended for the purpose of weight-loss. As you graduate to higher levels in the game, you earn various goodies, just like you get more treasure and cooler toys in Worlds of Warcraft. The way you rise to higher levels is to meet specific weight goals. I wouldn't participate in the damned thing, but for those who want to, I can see that sort of positive-sanction being effective.

Wii Fit alters your Mii's body shape based on your weight and BMI, so I end up with a fat Starbuck Mii. She's rather cute.

That's annoying because I've had super fit muscled friends hop on and then end up having a fat Mii and they're totally not built like that. So I'm not crazy about the weighted Miis either.
