I don't know why I do the things I do.

I decided tonight that I wanted to make toffee.  You know, the little patties that you had at parties as a kid?  Well, it doesn't taste quite right.  Something is missing.  But it's sweet, it's small, it's in a mini patty and it's red.  I am going to foist as many of these onto my nieces, nephews and family as I can cause I can't eat three cups of melted sugar on my own.

My guts are killing me now, so I've probably agitated my scars again.  I just get energy and feel good and before I know it, I'm doing shit and I'm like, "AH, wait, not supposed to do that!"  Too late.

So I'm going to load up on painkillers and hope I get to sleep soon.

Toffees! The secret ingredient is about a tablespoon of malt vinegar. ;)

I put the malt vinegar in. The toffees just had to set properly. They taste perfect now!
