Okay. If you don't want to hear about my period, scroll on. I'm not going into detail, just admitting that I have them.

I'm on Tramal, Endep and Lovan. For the first week of me having Tramal I haven't had a single high. I've been sleepy but there's not real discernible high for me. This morning I haven't had the Tramal yet but I'm avoiding taking it early in the day cause I end up falling asleep - I can't help it! I've just started my period this morning (Mark in the calender, silly) and oh WOW. I'm all spacey and dizzy and tired and out of it. I always get like this when I'm taking some form of painkiller and bleeding. I wish I knew why, why that happens? I guess I'm ridiculously curious about my own body, and I want to make sure I'm not in any trouble when it happens.

Well, I know that two things happen when you get your period. Your iron drops and your metabolism increases. So it's quite likely that your metabolism jumps up a lot during your period, causing you to metabolize more of the drug than you normally get. You might need to take a lower dose or a slower-releasing form of your pain meds. Or maybe even take a pill to slow your metabolism a bit. I think you might want to ask your doctor about it.

::glomps:: Hope you feel better!
