Thanks, I think I prefer the non-drunked hugs! I'm so sad atm, I went to see mum and dad today and my little brother told me when we were playing with his new dog in the backyard that my old cat Ophelia had died! He's a kid so he said it so matter of factly. So I confronted my mum and it turns out the cat died THREE WEEKS AGO! And they didn't tell me! They gave the lame excuse that I was sick or something and that I was really busy with uni. Well was really upset and even yelled at my mum which is not like me. I said sorry after but I'm still mad at them all.

Death is weird, I can't believe my little kitty is gone. She was a stray and I found her in 1997 during a thunderstorm. She was getting very sick lately, but I was still shocked that she died.

I really needed to tell another cat lover about this - Adam's being a sweetie, but I think he's cried more than me. I'm just in total shock.

Adam does that. He's a sweetheart, he gets more upset than you do about things. Hehe.

*hugs* Was she a kitten when you found her? Lenny was born in 1995. Did they find out what took Ophelia off?

No, she wasn't a kitten, which probably makes her really old. Ophelia had something wrong with her back legs and couldn't sit down properly anymore. The vet said it was arthritis and he also said to mum that she wouldn't live a lot longer as she had heart palipitations and seemed like an old cat to him. Mum hates putting cats down, so she decided to just look after her and give her medicine. Like I said its not a sudden shock that she died, I knew she was sick, but yeah, not having a great day today.

Thanks for your hugs, I appreciate it. I think I'll go and get some sunshine.

Sunshine is one of the best things for sadness, I find. And if you can, garden. Gardening always makes me feel better. :)
