Well, I tell you this now. I be wearin' me special, feathery pirate hat all this day and without fail. Even when I perform me victuals and me ablutions. I even be postin' pictures of me latest adventures as a pirate.

Mad Bonney may even tell ye some wild tales of the seven seas! If you stick around and ply me fine self with some rum!




Here I be with my most talktative little friend, Bowie the Parrot!


Arrr! I ran foul of ol' Poseidon an' 'e turned me into a mermaid! I wa'd nearly carried away by a lecherous sailor! But arrr, he took pity on me and turned me back when I 'elped his fair daughter escape from a cruel sailor who 'ad stoled her red cap and made her 'is wife!


Aaaaah, this be after some time with a gypsy! She gave me some of her fine wares and some good fortune in exchange fer a pearl!


THIS be my piratical pet, Mad Lenny!! He even have 'is own parrot! 'E comes on the boat and deals with the rats. Me rough'n'ready crew gets mad at him though. They like the odd rat themselves an' Lenny gobbles them all up! AARGH-AH-Hahaha!

I should take notes, as I want to be a pirate this year for Halloween. The only thing I have in mind so far are the boots, and even they probably won't work right.

Aw, he's so cute! Miko's usually a little fiesty, but he might be patient for me, and most likely me alone, lol. :)

The most important thing is the hat, the belt around the body for your pirate effects (money bag, sword, etc), kneepants, old-fashioned shirt of some sort, and if at all possible, a corset or waistcoat.

Parrot and eyepatch optional ;D

I think my biggest problem is going to be the pants. I just have no idea what to use.

Anything will do. Black and tight, brown and tight. Should be fine.

I don't have any pants that go my knees except my denim capris, and I think they're too tight. I'm going to ask my mom too. Every year she helps me with my costume, she's got a knack for it. And I changed my mind quite a few times. I thought about being Tonks, being Nefrititi (as I've already been Cleopatra). And then a Pirate seemed like a fun idea. :)

That would work. It depends on the boots I wear. Neither pair I have are very piratey, but my mom has some I could use I think. I had a certain pair in mind, even though they they're too feminine/fancy, and I'd probably regret wearing them long because they have a heel. But I just got them, so I'm excited to wear them. It'd work if I wanted to be sexy girl pirate, but that's not a true pirate, is it? *sigh* A pirate's life is never clear sailing. :p
