Yep, I'm on a roll.





Now, I've had a comment before (pets Leda) and before anyone else says it, I'm nipping this insidious way of thinking in the bud.

No. Alex does NOT look like David Krumholtz. David Krumholtz looks like ALEX. Want proof? Lemme give you some!

Er, yes. It was nine years ago and I didn't even know who DK was, let alone basing any characters on him, LOL! So yes. Making sure we're clear on that one. I mean, he doesn't even look that much like DK there, but he did have an acquiline nose and dark eyes. I blame Ted Raimi for that. Anyway. I started drawing Alex differently, but it just didn't work. The pretty-boy thing totally killed his personality. I like him goofy and geeky.

Tracy. Still haven't found an actress for her. Out of work Australian model. Vacant. False. Makes out as though she's a modern woman.


Lacey: Host of leading music video show in Britain. Wants to be a singer. Snarky. Tough.

Tracy: Oh my gosh! Girl Power!
Lacey: ...You what?
Tracy: I totally believe in it! I believe in women being independent!
Lacey: You 'believe' in it?
Tracy: God, yes! I mean, we don't really need to be like, you know, full on about it anymore cause women have cars and can vote and can work and stuff. I wouldn't call myself a feminist cause, like, ick! Most of those are man-hating lesbians - not that there's anything wrong with being gay!
Lacey: You're a regular Germain Greer, aren't you?
Tracy: Who's Germain Greer?
Lacey: *sigh*

Hahaha. Tara Reid doesn't have a good enough body! *laughs* Well, skinny and FALSE enough, really. I'm totally taking the piss out of models with Tracy, and out of those real society girls that stand in line for hours outside crowded nightclubs and talk on their mobiles really loud and think they're totally with it but you just know they have NO IDEA about the real world.

Small-name actress, but I thought she'd do well with Tracy: Mena Suvari. If you ever saw her in "Rumor Has it," when she had her hair dyed blonde, her character in that movie was PERFECT for your Tracy.

OMGZLOLROLFZ!!! HAHA. Ashley Scott is my model for Barbara! (Remember her?) :P When I created Barbara, some time later it came Birds of Prey and I was like OMG BARBARA!!! XD Now there we have a reference in common. 8D

Heh. Andrea is one of my favourite names, I think it's absolutely beautiful to look at and to say, but some people absolutely hate the name. :) I thought it was perfectly dreamy and sensual for the character I created. She appeared with her name. I didn't have to wonder what it was at all!

Do you pronounce it "Ann-dree-ah" or "Ahn-dree-ah" or "Ahn-dreh-ah" I'm the first, named after two grandmother's with Ann in their names. :D I guess you could call it the Irish pronounciation, since most of my family is from N. Ireland. :D

Can't wait to see more of this!

The first. Though, being amongst a lot of rich people, she does get called AHN-drea and Ahn-dray-ah from time to time. She actually hates that because it sounds pretentious. She's flighty and dreamy and ignorant of a lot of things to start off, but pretentious she's not. Not deliberately, anyway. :)
