Casting Tonks...

logansrogueUntil the sixth movie is cast, we only have JKR's descriptions and our own imaginations to go on as far as what Tonks looks like. For those of us writing Tonks stories, this isn't enough. We like to search out a face, a living, breathing face, that can animate the character in our heads and make them real.
So. I'm trying to find an actress to be Tonks until WB with vaster and better resources, completes the job.
She has to be british, with the cockney charm and everything. Names that were bandied about in a chat:
- Anna Freils (Yes I realise the irony of this, I didn't realise she was going out with David Thewlis until someone told me in the chat)
- Jane Horrocks (both her and Anna would have to be younger, and they're not, so darn).
The ladies in chat liked Samantha Morton, but I don't know if she really does it for me.
