CROTCH-GRABBING?! WTF?!!

Fly away, Pygar.

John Philip Law has gone exterior. He passed away yesterday and I am very, very sad to hear that he's gone. He was only 70, for God's sakes. And he was such an entertaining guy, even in the shittest movie imaginable, he was entertaining. Barbarella is one of my most favourite movies *ever*, ever, EVER. And he was downright perfect as Pygar. There was something startlingly innocent in his face, which is why I think I was so amused to see him as an evil dude in Space Mutiny. I remember watching him in Sinbad when I was a little kid. Those movies always captivated me.

And in the darkest years of my life, when I was struggling through a bad depression, I'd put on Space Mutiny and laugh. And Space Mutiny remains my absolute *favourite* MST3K episode ever. That movie would have been nothing without JPL as the calculating Calgon.

So go now with the other angels, Mr Law. May they take you to thy rest. And thank you for the great viewing.
