Oh my God they suck so bad. LOL!! It's just so glaring how BADLY they play their instruments compared to the other bands, like Hoodoo Gurus and Muse and The Darkness. Heck, even the dinky little local bands play better than them. You'd think in the how-many years Metallica have been playing, they'd learn to play something other than bar chords. *shakes head*.

Pardon to any Metallica fans that might see this. God bless you, enjoy your music, I just don't like it, it's not my cup of tea. *shakes head* They seem like a reasonably good live band though. People enjoy them.

I don't like Metallica. First off there was their shite cover of Whiskey in the Jar which I disliked a great deal... then recently they did some photo shoot where they dressed up Led Zeppelin. Out of focus and from a distance it almost worked- except for the singer's beer belly which totally made him look like anyone but Percy.

Their set at the Freddie Mercury Concert in 92 was also poor I thought. Made Robert Plant's 'rendition' of Innuendo (don't ask) sound like manna from heaven.

So anyway, to conclude: I agree with you.

No! Don't do that! It's the only genuinely bad thing that man has ever done. I mean, it's quite good for comedy value, but... NOOOOOO. Even he admits he didn't know what the fuck he was doing with it.

Apparently Innuendo was Queen doing Zep, but RP didn't get it. It was so bad it was left out of the concert video.

Did you actually go to the BDO or are you just listening from home? :)

I went to see the Darkness, and after a little while I went home cause I wasn't feeling well. Good thing too, since I got righteously burnt :(

Hmmm...best album Metallica ever did was by far Master of Puppets, and even if you don't like them now, you'd probably still want to check out that album. Although I like it better when Dream Theater covers them. Dream Theater is the pinnacle of musical taste/talent...but that's just my opinion.

Oh, my goodness, last night I was in the painting studio for 8 hours and Metallica was playing for half that time. I thought I'd go nuts...
