I agree that they need to stop being misogynistic jerks in their main comics. Ugh. But I don't necessarily think the Women's Comics are a bad thing. Giving women more jobs in the comics industry is a good thing, even if they are doing it in a gimmicky way that's just trying to get women off their back.

Yeah it's a very stupid comic, and I can predict fairly safely it isn't going to sell. If they were serious about promoting women in comics they'd start hiring some more female writers for their main titles.

Right. Guys will stay away cause they'll think it's not "for them". And the women will be effectively segregated and condescended to. Where-as, it'd be much more effective and progressive to HIRE MORE WOMEN. The fanboys needn't be told. They can still enjoy their comics, as long as there's explosions, muscles and death.

Heh. I don't give a shit about what they label it or start with the woman writing comics for woman crap. That's not really my thing, given I prefer the more traditional comics to the ones that have a larger female audience. Stunts to attract woman only effect me when I start getting lectures about how I should read this because 'oh look a girl is writing it, that'll make it brilliant'. I hate that.

I am entirely in it for the lols of Devin Grayson being called a good writer. Her work is usually pretty terrible.
