God damn. Someone remind me why I live in this country? There's something good about this place, right? Cause so far I have my friends, family, cats and beaches.

The country also contains heaps of people appalled by the blackface, protesters on behalf of refugee rights, Indigenous Australians with the wonderful art and culture, and the Liberal party are losing federally and in most states. And nice beaches.

I love all those things. *hugs my sane friends* I'll keep remembering the Chinese dragons at the Christmas parade in Claremont, and the belly dancers and the stuff they're going to put up in the new park by Lake Claremont that'll talk about the history of the Indigenous Australians that lived there. And the fact that nobody actually watches Hey Hey It's Saturday anymore.
