You know what makes me want to kick puppies? When I've been working on my comic for an hour, and then my fucking piece of shit laptop overheats and shuts down on me. It never used to do this before I installed Sims 3. It's only since I've installed it (and promptly uninstalled it cause of the problems) that I've had this issue. I'm thoroughly annoyed.

You uninstalled it but your computer still has problems? Are there still Sims 3 files on your disk? Sometimes a program will uninstall but leave some files behind that you have to remove manually.

...Remind me not to get Sims 3.

I would say about 3 years, it doesn't have to be super accurate, just as long as it is longer than 12 months, which it most certainly is.

Or use Linux ,I get people to put Ubuntu(totally free and there is a graffics based version) on dying laptops and it works wonders.
