Ever since I was assaulted last year, I hadn't had what I call my "Kissing Dreams". They're dreams where I kiss celebrities and have wonderful rousing love-affairs. I was so sad about that, that I hadn't had those dreams. I thought I would never, ever have those dreams again.

About three days ago I had a dream that I was kissing Joxer. And then Ares. I alternated. It was lots of fun. I woke up and thought, "Hah. Well, I guess it's a one-off."

Except last night I had a dream that I was having a burning, scorching, passion-filled love affair with a foreign man who was staying at our house. I'd done an exotic dance to seduce him and we were deeply in love. Strangely, he looked like this. I guess I have a thing for George Chakiris and never knew! Oh well. That's a new addition to my kiss list! :D

I hope this trend continues. My kissing dreams make me very happy. It's like having my own private holodeck. :) Very vivid, realistic dreams. I can feel their lips, the wetness of their mouths, everything. I'm so glad to have a dream like that again!

George Chakiris starred in one of my all-time favorite bad movies, which I saw under the title The Day The Hot-Line Got Hot (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0064906/). In it, Chakiris plays that most time-worn, hackneyed cliche character, the man who is a failure in life because he refuses to ever, ever tell a lie. By the end, of course, to save The Girl, he tells an outrageous string of whoppers, having learned that The Truth Does Not Pay. You could sleep through the whole thing and miss nothing, except for this: In the last scene, he's having a meal with The Girl, and she confesses her love for him, and he replies easily, "I love you, too." And she looks at him for a long moment, and finally responds, "I'll never really know, will I?" To which he replies, "No, you never will."

What an amazing capper for such a hokey, hackneyed, timeworn and over-familiar premise. "You can't live without the ability to lie," the movie tells us... "But consider the cost."

He stole the show in West Side Story. I had absolutely no care for the "Romeo" character. Chakiris, however, had my attention from the get-go. It's those hot Greek men, I tells ya. They get me right here *pats pelvis*.
