logansrogueOkay, so I totally didn't say anything in this journal, not really, because I didn't want to jinx myself (I'm silly superstitious sometimes) and sort of kept shit under my hat but things finally happened today and I can't keep it to myself any longer!
I've met an absolutely *wonderful* man, he's sweet, he's gorgeous and he's a big old geek like I am and we're absolutely crazy about each other. I've had such a HORRID time of things lately and his emails kept me sane, they really did. It was so good to have someone there that was a guy and WASN'T a jerk, in fact the complete and total opposite of that, in fact.
His name is Paul, which is problematic cause that's my brother's name but we're both "Ah, we'll think of a nick-name eventually."
Ahhh, I'm floating! *laughs* God, it was SO WEIRD cause I totally wasn't on the pull when I bumped into him online. He just knew this girl that I met at a party recently and BOOM - this conversation just exploded into a friendship that's just - FANTASTIC. It has room for wonderful things and I'm just so damned excited about it!
*happy sigh* SO, you know, I still feel these shit things from the trauma I experienced some weeks back, I'm still having my mental problems and stuff but it's sort of like I'm wearing a life-preserver of "YAY" right now.
I'm past exhausted right now cause I haven't had any sleep today so this isn't going to be a huge detailed post. But basically, I organised a video night with my sister, her husband, and Chris and Zoe ended up being there too which was wonderful. And we all hung out and watched funny stuff. Like IT Crowd, Superbad, that was it. But yeah, fun, lightweight stuff. I felt safe, I felt happy, even though I was going through lack-of-sleep exhaustion at the end there. I am just *totally* myself around him, there's no "OMG I hope he likes me!!!" stress. It just - we fit.
It's cool though, cause Scotty has a lovely girl he's seeing right now (they are SO CUTE TOGETHER OMG). (YES REI YOU GUYS ARE FUCKING CUTE LOLOL I SAID IT! *laughs*).
Aaaanyway, I'm going to go to bed. Hopefully I'll get some sleep. I'm totally wired from being with Paul but I figure if I'm happy and tired, sleep should chase me down fairly quickly.
I just wanted to do my digital equivalent of shouting "WOOHOO!" from the rooftops. ;-D
