And there was more, but I've pushed it out of my brain for fear of head-desking more than is healthy.

My grandma is twice that age, and she has a clearer head than me most of the time. XD
If so, I should have died long long ago...

don't forget there's no such thing as an exageration, because Heath Ledger, 28, has been "smoking weed for 20 years". I don't know about the people you know, but even the dodgy kids where I live (Katanning) aren't smoking weed at 8 (they generally start about year 9 - 13/14)

not to mention that someone like him, whose family live in Applecross (although perhaps not back then), but did send him to Guildford, would have even heard of drugs (unless in Health) before high school.

I know. It's like, "Yeah, I'd believe he'd do joints. Casual marijuana use is common here in Perth." It's just *not* that serious, you know? It might fuck with your moods but it's not going to do to you what, say, meth will do to you. They're all, OMG HEATH DID DRUGS!

He had some spliffs. Big deal. LOL! Name me one person of our age-group that hasn't when out and about at one time. (I know a couple but they're far more disciplined than I!)

Dude ... there are drugs being prescribed to people every day that do far more damage and are a lot more potent and addictive than a joint. We don't seem to look at that. :/

no idea, I just saw the headline of the west from a few days ago down at the pub. they're taking it as fact that he said he'd been "smoking weed for 20 years". which just makes no sense. not to mention if he had, why didn't he smoke some weed to relax and sleep rather than having sleeping pills?
