My Tenth Doctor 12" figure's left leg has broken off at the hip joint. I'm absolutely heartbroken! Looking at the joint, I'm not entirely surprised. It's a tiny little joint, they should have made it bigger. People just love stuffing around with him around here. All I wanted was him to sit there on my computer tower and look adorable. I don't know how it happened but I'm terribly upset now. Thankfully the pants really keep it in place and I've put blue tac in to keep it sort of in its spot, but it's not - it's not the same. There's no way I can afford another one. :( Not for some months anyway, and I'd feel stupid about having two of them just because of a broken leg. I hate it when toys break!

My poor Doctor! *mourn*

Well, no because superglue is only good for two surfaces that sit together and don't get any side to side movement. This would just break straight away.

What I'm thinking, and I know the collectors around me are going to wail and moan, is to put a tiny dob of apoxy resin there. It'll glue together and he won't be able to move his leg much, but it beats having one leg dangling down like a landmine victim. Besides. He needs to be in working order when Martha enters the building. ;-O

I will send the Action Figure Protection Services over to follow up. They will make sure that everyone who abused your poor Doctor pay!

It's staying put for now. He's got a feather in his pocket for some reason. A big honking grey one. He looks like Yankee Doodle.
