There were lots of doctors, but this one has a special place in my heart - he's the first one I was exposed to as a child and when he left, I was so bereft I stopped watching. I was a kid, I didn't know he'd been one of many at the time. LOL!

Definitely my idol as a child. I met him at a book signing once, and he even remembered my name when I came back five minutes later because I'd forgotten to thank him for stay with the show for as long as he did :-)
