Ever had a week where you feel like most of the populace finds you intensely irritating or stupid? If I accidentally sent you a unicorn picture over MyFace, I'm sincerely sorry. I meant to send it to a couple of people, not my entire friends list!
Another good thing: My First EVAR ModTheSims2.com CC Approval! I'm so excited. I need to fix the alpha on the lips, but other than that, I am incredibly gleeful. I miss feedback. Feedback is nice. *sigh*
I think I might be spending too much time playing The Sims. :T I don't *mean* to, but I just want things to do and before I know it I've spent hours playing it.
I'm also sick of finding normal clothes thoroughly uncomfortable for my stomach. I need to buy gym-jams or something. You know, like slacks or sweatpants. Cause the jeans just dig into my guts something fierce and end up hurting.
I went to the beach with Dad today, that was nice. We'd driven to Fremantle, you see, and unfortunately I didn't get my stuff done there. The Centrelink building had a gas scare, so I have to go in tomorrow to submit my form. Fuck it all. *sigh*. Means I can't buy Tina's present until Friday. But the beach, yes, the beach. It was cloudy and dramatic, but not too windy or cold. Just right. And the sand was nice and firm under my feet so it didn't get into my boots. Dad and I walked along the beach looking for shells. It's one of those things I do with him, see. He likes to go to the beach to de-stress. I go to the beach to relax and connect with the ocean. I just love it there, but you've heard me go on about how much I love the beach before. God, it was so beautiful today. Watery sunlight, golden and filtering through the clouds, the grey-blue water and the deeply coloured clouds - just gorgeous. It looked like a painting, like it shouldn't be real, but someone's romantic fancy. In a totally non-patriotic way, but more of a caveman, earth-loving, nature-adoring, tree-hugging sort of way, I love my country. I love where I come from. When I get to the beach all I want to do is fall down into the sand and roll around like my cat at feed time. When I get my mermaid tail done, that's exactly what I'll do. :)

I have a documentary I taped off TV many years ago about the history of rock 'n' roll. In it they show an image of a wall somewhere, sometime in the 60's. Back when graffiti was still halfway intelligent. The graffiti read "Clapton is God". I do like the responses I've had posting it in Facebook though. :)
