logansrogue: (My Uterus Hates Me)
[personal profile] logansrogue
My uterus is trying to see if it can make itself into that impossible triangle, you know the one, the one that's an optical illusion that can't be built in real life. That's what it's doing. It's agony. *holds up codeine pill* It tends to get you very, very high. Which is where I am right now. Also mellowed out on chamomile tea, which my dear sweet Mum made me while I went to the toilet. It was a nice surprise and it's helped relax me immensely.

I am going to do the least physically and mentally demanding thing I can under the circumstances. I'm going to play The Sims 2.

I'm sorry about your pain. I've been suffering more than usual lately and I know if I had insurance and a good doctor, I'd be willing to have it all taken out. Of course for me, being on the far side of marriage and having the kid, that is a possibility to end the pain. I remember the days I was in your youthful shoes and I know how much it hurts. I wish I could offer you more than just a sympathetic ear and some very long distance hugs.

I'm sorry you're not feeling well. Have you ever tried swimming to help relieve pain? It works for me sometimes with my ibs, period and urethritis pain.

My friend Elizabeth has been sick for a month and the doctors now think she has endometriosis. I'm just so worried about her and you to for that matter.

How are you going raising money to see the gyno?

Shit, I know how bad cramps are and how much they suck. I'm glad you have some meds. Can you put a hot water bottle on it as well?

If she ever wants someone to talk to, or wants to know someone who knows what she's going through, tell her she's free to contact me any time. For serious. Having support is *so* important during the diagnosis stage.

Uhm, I've got a few interested parties. I just have to get some faerie art done cause that seems to be the thing people want on prints. :)

I've got a commission from Kendra, Stephanie and someone else but my codeine haze is making me momentarily forgetful. *sigh* :)

OOoh, do you take pictures of the houses? I have a passion for really cool houses, layout wise rather than decor (which is highly personal to the Sim in particular, I think). I have a Sims journal: http://awesims.livejournal.com

It's a shared journal. If you'd like to join and put pictures of your houses up, lemme know. I can set it so you have permission. :)

Oh I'll have to check it out!
I have never tried the whole internet/shared sim thing. I usually just put the disk in and play. I will use a cheat if I have a cool idea for a family and want to see it be successful (like to give them a lot of money or something.) The houses I build are waaaaaaay too expensive for a new Sim family to buy. So I have one or two cheat families.
I have one non-cheat sim that I'm playing at the moment. I want to see if I can make her a famous singer. She's a hardworking little up and comer. She's still in that singing for her supper stages. But she has a steady boyfriend which is always fun :-D
I dunno... it's a fun escape when I hate my house and want to go to someone elses :-D

OMG Claremont Tigers is MY team too!!!! I used to go and watch the footy with my Dad. We'd walk across the road to the oval. I remember a very fond match where my Dad and Granddad and me all went. I learnt to tell out "BUTTER-FINGERS!!!"

*grin*

Dude! I used to be taken to the football as a baby till I was hit in the head with a football! I had a favourite football player when I was three that I'd get all excited about whenever he was on TV! I'd call him 'Curly' cause he had this mass of beautiful brown curly hair that would bounce as he ran across the field!

I can't believe we're both Tigers supporters! LOL! That's so awesome!

My Tigers love led to me making an ass of myself in front of Prince Phillip when I was a kid!

I have a photo of me in one of those beanies too! :D

The story is that I thought the crowd that had gathered at the Showgrounds to see the Queen and Prince Philip were there for football. So I'm sitting in my pram, which was a huge old fashioned perambulator type of deal that had me strapped in. It was heavy and huge! The crowd gets excited as the car approaches, and I start jumping up and down in the pram shouting, "TI-GERS! TI-GERS!" The pram upends because of my bouncing about and I'm danging upside down from the pram still shouting, "TI-GERS, TI-GERS!" Next to Mum is this policeman on a motorbike and he races to Mum's aid. Just as this happens, the Queen had passed in front of us. Mum looks up for a glimpse and she sees Prince Philip, pointing and laughing his tits off at the spectacle of the dangling baby.

*bows* That's me. Klutz, entertainer of royalty! :D
