HP Shipiness - not as dead as I thought.

I had a dream this morning. A codeine addled dream where Harry and Hermione got together, even though it pissed Ron and Ginny (who didn't appear in the dream) off. I thoroughly enjoyed it and when I woke up I realised something.

I still enjoy H/Hr. Even if the fandom thoroughly pisses me off, I really, really, REALLY love my Ship. So don't be surprised if art or some other creative venture comes from this in the near future.

You said you didn't like the latest portkey forum threads/people, yes? Or am I getting mixed up with another disillusioned H/Hr shipper?

Anyway, I've never really been one for the forums, I've kept mainly to LJ for my contact with fellow fans, and otherwise stuck to reading the fanfics. As a result I'm a much H/Hr as I've ever been. And the bits and pieces of OBHWF that I see on LJ makes me even more resolute that H/Hr is the way to go.

I don't have any particular beef with portkey, no. There are a lot of crap fics there, but that's what you get with a big open fic archive like that. *shrugs*. Thankfully there are some good ones too!

OBHWF just makes my stomach turn, it really does. Way too incesty flavoured. Bleagh!

I so know that feeling - hate the fandom, love the ship. I feel that way about the Erik/Christine ship in "Phantom". Kinda a lonely place to be, though! (Or maybe that's just me). That's why I still hang out at the X/A forum, I love the fandom (and the ship of course).

Hmm, not that this is why I posted, but now that I'm here, how are the X/A shipperfic plans coming along? Inquiring minds want to know!
