May I just say that "The Body Electric" by Rush is a fucking BRILLIANT song? Seriously. They employ binary. BINARY IS IN THE LYRICS!!! If that doesn't get my favourite geeky friends intrigued then, uhm... it's a song about a robot? :) I will ETA the shit out of this post cause I need a post I can verbally diarrhoea into. Textually. Whatever.

ETA1: AHA! The Darth Vader song remix thing - that just came on. Fader... shit, you know, I don't remember who did it, this thing doesn't say. Oh yes it does - Fader Gladiatoe - Battle of the Planets. It's on SPACED anyway. Brilliant, really, I fucking love it. :D

ETA2: You Are a Pirate! just came on. I'm sitting here, bouncing and cacking myself laughing. I'm officially nuts. LOL! Aaah, I'm in the house alone. I wouldn't do this with company. LOL!

ETA3: Someone sent me Doctor in the Tardis by the KLF, and it sat unlistened to on my drive for the longest time, till I added it randomly to an 'everything' list. It just came on and it's amusing me greatly. *laughs* This really needed to be played at the Swancon Costume Ball. It would have been hilarious to see people dancing to this one. LOL!

Do you have Rush's new album, Snakes and Arrows? It is awesome! it sounds like their 70'em s and 80's music with a lot more bass. I recently saw them this summer which was their best concert yet. Geddy pulled out his old Richenbacher for a few songs. Whew!!

Body Electric is very cool. Years ago a friend of mine did a multi-page comic based on the lyrics, and I used a few lines from it to intro a chapter in my long-arse Marvel Mutant fanfic.

Someone above mentions Snakes and Arrows and this year's concert tour - I saw them last month (wrote about it in my journal), and they were stellar. There are bootleg videos from the tour all over YouTube.
