Mum's listening to a Scotsman report on what happened in Glasgow. All I'm hearing is the voice. I said to Mum, "Mum... is it wrong that his voice is making me hot?"

Mum just laughed.

All that horror and I'm getting turned on by the accent. LOL! Broken.

I think it's a sense of shock. Scotland means a lot to me, it's my 'motherland' so to speak. Australia is my home but Scotland is a part of what made me in the first place. Apparently someone punched one of the terrorists. Just dropped him on his arse with one punch.

Glaswegians especially. I mean, what manner of total nutcase thinks of fucking with Glasgow?

This is a place where they deep fry pizza and Mars Bars before deigning to wash them down with Special Brew or Tennent's Super and where the biggest music festival in the country is sponspored by a beer company and where this year, the festival will be, no joke, the 6th biggest city in Scotland.

This is a place where a Glasgow Kiss has nowt to do with lips and where even football is cause for serious sectarian violence. Oh, and I read that some parts of Glasgow have a male life expectancy of.... 54. I swear, that's not a misread or a typo. Even the city as a whole is only 72 years.

I adore Glaswegians because they're mental. They have to be. I never spoke to a Glaswegian I didn't like, meself. God love him - somebody needs to.
