Well. It seems that I have pityriasis rosea. Yeah, I pity me. I pity a fooh - that is me. Little red dots all over, I look diseased, it's even on my gorgeous breasties. Nothing I can do about it - reaction from virus (most likely but they're not entirely sure) and no, you can't catch it. I'm calling it 'me scurvy'. I feel SO unattractive right now - my gut is porky, I'm covered in dots and I have dark circles under my eyes from the freakin' lack of sleep lately.

Doctor thinks that I should consider going on the pill for my period and endo problems. I agree and I'm looking into what pills might agree with me. I might try the ones Tina is on cause they don't seem to be causing her any problems and they're cheap too.

Then, on the way home we drove past an injured magpie on the road. As soon as Dad stopped the car at our house, I ran out and went to the bird. It was either a baby or a female. I hugged her and brought her back to my place, put her in a box. She was panting, flapping her wings. I hugged her to my chest when bringing her home, I could feel her shocked breaths. God. I felt her warmth and I knew she was badly hurt. I love birds dearly, particularly magpies - they have such a gorgeous call and they're so very clever. I'm pretty sure this was one of the maggies that visits and eats our cat food, so I was kind of attached to it. We dropped it off at the vet and I let them know that if they had to put her down, I wanted to know. And sadly, just five minutes ago, the vet called and said that she was too injured to be saved. Which has made me sad, but what can one do? Wild animals get hurt, I guess. I hate cars. :(

And, thanks to the pityriasis rosea, I bet you dollars to doughnuts that no man or woman will want to get jiggy with me for months. I am stuck looking like I am diseased for weeks. Things suck.

If it makes you feel any better, I too have red spots on meh boobehs. I always get a couple of zits there for SOME REASON around my period...and they usually stay there for about a week and a half. It's worse than usual this time...there's quite a lot.

I'm not used to this. Usually I'm all smooth and pale and pretty. And now I'm spotty. :(

I'm usually flawless, and I work really hard to keep my skin that way, so I know how upsetting it is to see spots pop up from nowhere overnight. T-T

I know that you will not be surprised at all that I'd say this, but it doesn't mean its not true - I think with spotty boobies and dark circles, you would still be pretty gorgeous. I mean, not as gorgeous as when you are at your best, but when you are at your best, you have a lot of hotness to spare.

I like magpies and their calls a lot too.

I looked into that poor bird's eyes. It was so frightened. :( It was soft too. Very beautiful.

*hugs* Thanks, Kim! You're so sweet! I did get my glasses - they're friggin' fantastic!

Yeah, I love maggies. We get a group of them coming to feed every day off the leftover cat food. Our 'magcats' Mum calls them. I was totally sad to see one of our mob on the road. I did what I could for the little dear.

Such a sad story about the poor bird.

*pets* Sorry about the skin rash. Sick of any kind is never fun. But as far as the 'getting jiggy'...wouldn't the other symptoms (headache, nausa, etc.) of the virus sort of preclude sexins, regardless of how you look? :}

Hon, have you ever considered wearing lots of foundation to cover the rosacea until it clears up? I have permanent rosacea. I was born with it and probably always will have the damn thing, but thank God I finally found a foundation I can work with that doesn't smell or cause zits.

You really are gorgeous. :D

It's only a temporary condition, and I can't afford to cover my bust in foundation. :T It'll go away. It's winter anyway so by the time spring rolls around it will hopefully be gone *prays to GOD*.

Awww, well thank you. *blushes* But I am wearing a lot of foundation there. ;) I did forget your seasons are reversed from ours and damn, in the winter, nobody even sees my legs. *snerk* Anyway, hope it clears and if not, a visit to a dermatologist might be in order. *hugs*

It's not really on the bits of my legs that are seen, just my upper thighs. I had to drop my pants to show the doctor.

I guess that's a plus it's not everywhere. Right now I'm having my own impatience with my sprained ankle. I'm sick of having to walk around with a cane all the time. :/ Hope things clear up soon hon. *hugs*

Oohhh... *huggles*

Pityriasis rosea? *jumps* I've had that before! Like four years ago. I don't really remember how my doctor treated it (gave me some mild soap), but she said it's important not to irritate it, like with hot water and hard soaps and stuff. I think it just goes away? Ehh.. not too sure.

It does just go away. I'm trying not to have my showers too hot but it *is* winter here and I get very cold. I have terrible circulation and my fingers and toes get blue at twenty degrees centigrade.

I loved seeing the magpies when I visited Europe. They were one of the first birds I saw when I visited Germany and I went "Ohhh, they're so beautiful!" Sadly I hardly see any magpies in Illinois ... maybe it's the cars. *sighs*
