Sims Things

Things I want to know how to do in The Sims 2:

- Get married
- Take a Sim out on an outing
- Have a huge party

Cause I have a fucking awesome house with a Nile (yes, a NILE), a Disco Room, a room specifically for my spa and snogging on a couch, and a Rock'n'roll room.

To get married, you have to have two Sims who are in love. Click on the inactive one and choose "Propose", then "Marriage". You'll get a movie that shows them proposing. Then pick up the phone and choose "Throw Party", "Wedding Party". That's as far as I got, but you can buy an arch and stuff and I'm sure that's how to get a wedding!

For a huge party, you have to have a lot of friends. Use the phone, choose "Throw party", "House party". I think it only works during the day, if it's too late at night throwing a party won't be an option.

For the outing, you can use the phone to call Transportation and get a cab. You can go shopping for groceries and clothes and stuff elsewhere in the neighborhood.

I know how to go ON an outing, but I don't really know how to TAKE a Sim on an outing, like it wants. My Sim really wants to go out and party with Ares!

Thanks for the other ones. Damn it - we haven't got any friends yet. And there are some fun Sims in the neighbourhood, too! :T

That's odd! I never had a Sim want to go out before. Maybe the transportation thing? See if after hailing a cab you can click on the Ares' house.

I'm customising shit at the moment. I love doing that. I'm making a Jack Harkness Sim, a Harry Potter Sim and a Hermione Sim. (Updated ones with actual faces cause the kids keep growing older).

I haven't made a Sim that looks like anybody yet. When I had the first Sims I had a bunch of houses with characters from Lost :)
