Like, a year ago, I bought a Logitech keyboard, mouse and cam set. It was the only way I could get your base model, el cheapo crap Logitech quick-cam, and I thought, "Hey, can't hurt to have a new keyboard and mouse too, right?"

But when it came time to replace them, I thought, "Oh hey... I kinda *like* this keyboard... I'm used to it." It was dirty as hell, the 'n' key was all worn to shit because I'm apparently a raging narcissist, but hey, it worked. The mouse was fine too.

Mum's mouse died today. So I pulled out the new keyboard and mouse and said "Hey, you use it."

But she couldn't because it had a PS2 connection instead of USB. But she goes, "Why don't you use this?"

"The batteries will run out. I can't afford batteries, and who can be fucked?"

And Mum goes, "I've got batteries." She just seemed so into these cordless devices, so I thought I'd try it out. I've written this whole thing on a new keyboard and I gotta say, it's kinda strange. It's a very soft touch for a keyboard and the buttons have shifted. It's quieter than the old one so I won't hear people tapping away at it in the middle of the night or in the morning. Which is good if I people want to sit up and do shit. My bro will probably bitch and moan but that's cause he dislikes change.

I must go now and beg Centrelink to forgive me for turning in a form late. Stupid ill health.

Oh - and HEY! I had what totally felt like endo pain this morning. Hooray! :[

It's the light spot in my utterly disappointing day.

Gotta love that new keyboard feeling. My old one had really hard loud keys. This one has smaller softer keys that you can barely hear.. felt soo delicate. Took me a long time to get used to. :S

Uh oh.. that doesn't sound good.

Is it the kind with the home/end pad rearranged and only one Windows key? I have one of those and I love it to death.

Yes! It has a big long 'delete' key.

I saw one of those in a store a couple years ago and fell in lust immediately. Got one about a month later. It's so awesome.

I actually felt one brand new in the store today and it felt squishier than mine, so I think the keys might actually firm up with use. (Don't ask me how...)

Remember, I'm a guy. Ideally nothing is squishy.
