Hey all.

I'm back home. I could have stayed another night, and the way I felt just five minutes ago, I think I probably *should* have stayed there cause my gas nearly got the better of me. (It actually killed to breathe!!). I got up and put heat packs on. I still feel like utter shit but I'm feeling significantly better than I was. Not enough pain relief, not enough by half. I just want my fuckin' codeine!!

I've discovered a new radio station. It doesn't really play new stuff. It's old stuff, but it's the COOLEST old stuff that ever was. It's a sponsored station, not a paid one, the radio show readers are really laid back and lovely, and they play the COOLEST SONGS ALL THE FUCKING TIME!! All the favourite stuff from my playlists and even more stuff that I'd LIKE to have on my playlist. 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, and even 80s. Lots of Elvis and shit. It's just great. Lots of older obscure stuff that they never play when they play the old stuff. For a retro queen like me? I'm in fuckin' heaven. I listened to it the whole time I was at hospital. And when there's bad stuff? It makes you laugh SO HARD!!

Anyways. I've been watching MST3K on my lappie (all thanks to you, my darling Michael, you've helped me more than you could know) and I watched Hercules VS the Moon Men or something like that.

DEEEEEP HUUUUUURTIIIIIIING! Yep, I really relate to that right now.

Mainly, I wanted to:

Thank each and every one of you that left me a message for me in the last two posts. God bless you all, I love you, all of you. I'm just so lucky to have such wonderful people in my life. I'd answer you all bit by bit but I can't sit up for too long without my shoulders hurting. Just know that I read every single one of them and they all made me smile. It's so good to know I'm loved.

LOVE YOU ALL!!!!

Now I simply must lie down. I did far too much today, I walked about the ward and I went into a pharmacy to buy an extra heat pack. Now I feel like vomiting!! I'm going to watch more MST3K.

(Thank God You're Here was fucking hilarious tonight!!!)

Is that Curtin FM?

Sounds like a station my mum listens to. :)

Hope you heal up fine and things are better now. *hugs*

Soooo happy you're ok!

Recovery always sucks, but the best bit? You get better! You go from feeling crap to feeling slightly crap, then feeling mildly crap, then feeling better and better, past the way you -were- and into the best feeling ever - normality without horrible pain!

You deserve it, and darned if I'm not going to make you a lemon meringue pie or something. Woo!

Yes, it is Curtin FM. I don't care if it's old fogie station. I love the music.

Elvis will never, EVER be uncool.

MST3K is generally good for what ails you, though if I had just experienced abdominal surgery, I don't know that I'd want to do a lot of laughing...

But it can also be the best medicine, so never mind that.

So glad to hear from you again. Strength to you during this recovery!

*Doorbell*

Stereotypical British Accent: "Yeah, I got a Special Delivery for a N. Lorenz?"

Nancy: "Oooh! Prezzies!"

SBA doing a terrible impression of a Canadian: "Sign here, here, here, here, here and...here."

Nancy: "I wonder what it is?"

*Explosion* *I appear in all my glory*

Me: "Somebody said they wanted hugs?"

God I'm bored! Glad to see you're back among us, Nance!

Glad you're feeling somewhat better, Nancy! Another one of my friends had the endo surgery today, too.

As for MST3K, Manos: The Hands of Fate is the best one ever - it's also the worst movie EVER.

Heh. I think my mother might still "sponsor" them. Any religious messages come straight from her :P

It's the worst movie ever but not my favourite MST3K. It's too bad. I prefer Space Mutiny, or Werewolf, of Quest of the Delta Knights. That sort of thing.

MST3K is good for helping to ignore pain. :-)

Glad things seem to have gone well. Or, at least, as well as this kind of this can go. Surgery. Yeesh.

It went well.

That icon represents the moment that nearly had me crushing on Nelson. Well, and there's one bit where he's pulling funny faces at the camera where Tom's describing his different flavours or something (I was high on drugs when I was watching it).
