Comic work... fuss fuss fuss!!!

One of my main failings as a comic artist is that I *fuss* too much. I know I should just relax and do the work, but I tend to worry that it's not good enough.




As you can see here, I've gone into a lot of detail with Narf's body - and this is a small frame in the corner of the page!!!

I guess I just want each frame to be an artwork in itself, and each page a beautiful thing to look at. Maybe it'll be worth it in the end.

It's going to take me forever to do, though! Eesh!

Ye gods, Nancy! That is gorgeous work with the muscle definition on Narf - very powerful looking. That will definitely be worth it in the end, even though it's going to take you a long time to do. I think that if you don't take your time, you'll be dissatisfied and keep playing around with it until you are happy. Better to take your time and be happy than to cut corners and be pissed off at yourself, sez me.

Haha. Yes, Narf has the capacity to be *very* lazy, but on the flipside, he is quite brilliant. A very smart Martian!
