Sorry about the noise in the background. Busy day. And there are points where Gizmo cuts out bits of my voice so it sounds like I'm speaking super-fast, when I'm not, it's just bad quality phone thingo. Yep.

Me: Okay this is the second time I'm doing this - I'm really sorry for the noise in the background. It's the afternoon so there's going to be a party on. Can you hear me? Okay. Uhm. Hang on. Mum? Can you not clunk so much?

Mum: Oh! Pardon ME for breathing!

Me: *laughs* Oh, sorry! Okay. Venus_ice asks "I would like you to do a perfect imitation of Hermione saying "Oh HARRY!" ... please." Unfortunately, I don't think I can actually DO a perfect imitation of Hermione. I'm fwooh - *laugh* She's got a bit of a- (Paul SHOOSH!) She's got a bit of a difficult accent to do - (We've got visitors here, you're going to have to forgive me!). Uhm. Okay. I'm gonna try it and it's going to sound like shit, all right?

"Oh HARRY!"

(Shhhh! My niece just ran up!)

"Oh Harry!" *laugh*

It's crap! (Scotty shoosh, please! I'm doing it again! Shoosh!) Sorry. Uhm. Connie asks - erm, well, Connaka, asks: As for my request, I'd like to hear you talk like a pirate. Arrrgh.

Okay, uhm, I usually have a standard Pirate voice that I do when I'm being a pirate, as a joke, uhm, particularly when I drive past (shh) when I drive past the Duyfken which is always moored in the Swan River here. Every time I drive past it, I go "Arrrgh, that's me ship, me hearties!" Yeah, it's crap *laughs* but that's what I do.

Uhm and BlueCoffeePenguin asks - bcp - he wants me to be Hermione being a pirate. Okay.

"Oh Harry! Arrrrgh!"

That's the best you're gonna get! (incomprehensible, I think I was saying how sad it was that that's my best)

Forweeksnow asks me three questions. First - have I ever suffered from internet withdrawal? Quite often. I have nephews that stay on the weekend, and if they happen to be on when I need to be on, then I tend to go through a bit of withdrawal cause I can't check my mail on other computers, it always has to be this one. Uhm, yeah. But in the past it was worse because we only had one computer. That was bad.

Have any other aussies told you your voice/accent is weird cause you're from WA? No. Honestly? No. I have had people comment that my voice - I have a funny accent - but not because I'm from WA. Uhm they'll just pick up and say "Hey, are you a pom or something?" "Are you from somewhere special?" Or, you know "Where are you from?" And I say, "No, no, I'm Australian. But my Mum and my Dad are immigrants, and I have to speak extra clearly for my Dad." He can not understadn the Austrayan Drawwwl. And, uhm, Mum is Scottish, so I tend to pick up a bit of her speech a bit, the way she does her vowels and intonation and stuff. So yes.

And, a final question from forweeksnow: If you had $10000 and were endometriosis free, where are you and what are you doing?

I'm having a big fucking party, I tell you that. I'm having a lot of sex cause it's not going to hurt... *laugh*. I'm recording a CD. I'm recording a CD... that's what I'm doing. (Can you make ANY more noise, Mum? *laugh* Mum told me to jam it!) Yeah... uhm... What was I saying? Oh. Ten thousand dollars. (Are you doing that deliberately? I'm so gonna kill you! *laughs*)

At the moment I'm not really working on it, but I have been working on it in the past. I've had the Muses going since seeing X3, so it's not abandoned, I haven't forgotten about it. I was distracted by Harry Potter for a while. Uhm. I've only got a couple of HP stories I'm going to do... I'll probably finish them but I don't know if I'll write any more Harry Potter, it depends on what the Muses say... But I'm definitely about two... Two uhm X-Men stories - no three! Three. Manis Mortiferum... Man Needs a Maid which is ah, about Logan before World War II and it's sort of a... sort of a past life for Marie story... it's a bit complicated. And uhhh... uhm... yeah. Fucking hell! What's the name of it? Shit. Something Alba. Something.. (MUM!) Something Alba! Basically it's about Scotland... William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and all that sort of shit, the freedom of Scotland and Logan and Rogue are there, so... yeah. All I can think of when I say Alba is Jessica Alba... So that's... *laughs* It's got a title. I'll remember it one of these days. Yeah.
