Rob Morrow was totally hot tonight. He was getting equal perv time with darling Charlie tonight. Very cute episode, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I have to go in to the hospital at 11am tomorrow, which is better than I thought it'd be. I'm allowed my last meal for the day at 6am, and I'm going to wake up and take it cause, dude, I'll really need it. That'll be a WHOLE DAY without food. :( I like food. Food is yummy.

I'm in good spirits. I'm just trying to keep myself busy for now. I'm going to go read Poirot and relax.

blaaah! i put the tv on to watch and then my Dad called so i just pressed record on the vcr, only to find out an hour later when i went to change the channel to tape commander and chief that i had been taping THE WRONG CHANNEL THE ENTIRE TIME! *grump*

ohwell. it's not like it's something i HAVE to watch, just annoying that I remembered to watch/tape it and then taped the wrong channel

oh and wow, good timing with the food!

i had to fast from midnight, and be at the hospital by 7, and didn't go into the theatre til 10.30/11. I could drink water though.

make them give you a local to put in the drip (I didn't have to ask thank god). good luck, hope you don't feel too sore (shoulders/back) afterwards. make sure you take fibre caps/metamucil stuff as the painkillers they (might) give you have a nasty side effect of constipation which is evil when you HAVENT just had abdominal surgery.

don't worry too much about being bored, you'll likely be thrilled just to be able to stare at the wall for 5mins without zonking out. just sleep/watch ads (tv gets frustrating unless its reruns as it's too hard to figure out whats going on)

*hugs* hope it all goes well!

Glad you're in good spirits. Though you probably won't read this in time now, good luck with everything today.

Though this is probably late, good luck!!!!! *hugs* Hope everything goes well. And you're lucky - when I had my colonoscopy, I couldn't eat anything with fiber 2 days before, and the day before, it was only "clear" liquids and jello - minus the red ones. And nothing that day. My mom took me to friendlys (which is primarily known for ice cream and happens to be across from the hospital) as soon as i was released despite the fact that I was told to go straight home because she knew I was desperate. Food is definitely good. And, though I know it's hard, try not to think about it too much. That's what makes you really nervous!

They gave me emla gel, and a local, and then they gave me stuff that made me all floaty and happy (God I wish I had that stuff when I was having panic attacks years ago). Then I woke up in agony.

But I'm better now. LOL. Mostly. If I don't move, anyway. LOL!

Thanks for the well-wishes, Kate-baby-doll. You're right - I was happy to be awake for more than five minutes, I kept zonking out! LOL!

That they are - and I could have gone another 25 years in blissful ignorance! And the torture of no food was made worse by milk of mag-nausea and this phospho-soda crap to clean you out. I don't ever want to go through that again!
*shudders*
