Babysitting.

I'm babysitting my niece Ruby today. I stood her in front of me and said, "I'm looking after you today. If you need a bum change or you're hungry, you come to me, okay?" And I held my hand out to shake, and she gave me the wrong hand. SO cute!

Helen was going out the door and she said, "Look after Ruby, okay?"

Ruby looks after me with a smile and says in her tiny voice, "I look after you."

How old is she? She sounds adorable--and increasingly I mean that about personality. All babies/kids are adorable, but some have just the best personalities ever!

I know. She's so incredibly cute. I played with her for hours (which is a feat for me. I even danced to about five or six songs with her. A record! I'm on a reasonably good day but the last half of the day I spent curled up around a heat pack and snoozing). You should see what she did when I drew Kira. She drew these pink lines shooting out from behind her. Did you teach her that? :)

Aaah. Thought so. It seemed like a you thing to do. I'm drawing today. I have all my drawing things out and I'm colouring in pictures and inking and stuff. It's hard to ink with shaky hands though. :( But the colouring is fun. What are you doing today?
