Corset troubles. I'm going slightly MAD!
Oct. 26th, 2005 09:01 pmUGH! OKay.
So, I've made the two parts - the lining with the canvas, and then I cut out and sewed together the vinyl, because I figured the vinyl didn't need canvas cause it was so think.
Every time I SEW the thing, the vinyl STRETCHES. So it ends up being too BIG for the underneath bit. Dear God, I am going MAD! *head-thunk* There's nothing I can do. It won't fit. FUCK. I'm thinking I'll have to unpick it all and get another material or something.
FUCK!!! Any suggestions? Throw 'em my way.

Date: 2005-10-26 01:15 pm (UTC)You'll have to obiviously place the vinyl underneath (maybe sit in on a thick towel) and have brown paper or something on top of the bondweb sandwich. You'll just have to use a coolish iron and take things very slowly to minimise meltage ;)
