I rang up TAFE today and it seems that they didn't get my extra documentation, so I'll have to fax it in tomorrow and there's a chance I can still get into TAFE on second-round offers. WHEE! I did phone and be confident and did my thang!

Note to self: Do not listen to beautiful music of brother that's in another country. Will make self cry.

Have SO many ideas for H/Hr stories. That essay really kickstarted me.

Okay, better get back to it. Love yas!!

Sounds good to me. Can you give me a lift or do you want me to find my own way there?

Vootie! I hope it works out for you.

And I'm glad to hear you're getting ideas for more stories! I've read as many of yours as I can find (more or less backwards - someone referred me to "The Snitch" and I worked my way back from there), and you've really impressed me every time. Your work was also a large part of my inspiration for getting back to writing fanfic after years of silence, and I can't thank you enough for that.

And your artwork's pretty damn amazing, too.

Gads, I'm starting to gush like a fanboy. I have no shame.

Hehehe. I'm very flattered that my work inspires you. It's the greatest compliment any artist or writer could ask for, seriously. So I thank you most sincerely. Good luck with starting up your writing again, I hope it goes well for you.

How could anyone not be inspired after the heart-to-heart chat between Harry and Remus?

I'm stuck on chapter three at the moment, but I'm slower than I used to be.

As long as I'm here, I'd like to ask your take on something, seeing as you're a musician and all. Have you noticed that there's really no music at all at Hogwarts? Never mind the choir scene in PoA, which was apparently invented for the movie. I can understand why no one at Hogwarts studies mathematics (they have arithmancy), or physics (they defy it constantly), but why isn't there any music? It's never even mentioned as an elective.

(While pondering this one night, I suddenly had an image of Luna Lovegood playing a bassoon, and after a mental picture like that, I had no choice but to write a story.)

So, have you ever wondered about that?

I'm glad the Remus-to-Harry talk amused. It was absolutely joyous to write that, I enjoyed every minute!!

I've never pondered the music thing, but now that you've mentioned it, it'll dog me until I come up with something to satisfy my mind. It's a damned good question, really. HEhehe. The bassoon. Bwahhaa. That's funny!

The first two chapters are up on Portkey, and it's called Finding the Muse.

Ugh, I shamelessly plugged my own story on your LJ. I am dirt. Must go iron my hands Dobby-style now.

(You know, I've been a computer geek for years upon years, but it still trips me out that I can have an almost real-time conversation with someone in Australia. I'll never get over that part.)

It's cool. I'm intrigued by the notion, and you actually paid attention to my interests so I don't mind. And yeah, the net rocks, in so many ways. :)

And I didn't bring it up for the sake of the plug. I definitely want to hear that answer once you have one to your satisfaction. =)
