Super-quick post while I'm at work...
Jan. 19th, 2005 04:53 pmI rang up TAFE today and it seems that they didn't get my extra documentation, so I'll have to fax it in tomorrow and there's a chance I can still get into TAFE on second-round offers. WHEE! I did phone and be confident and did my thang!
Note to self: Do not listen to beautiful music of brother that's in another country. Will make self cry.
Have SO many ideas for H/Hr stories. That essay really kickstarted me.
Okay, better get back to it. Love yas!!

Date: 2005-01-21 08:08 am (UTC)I'm stuck on chapter three at the moment, but I'm slower than I used to be.
As long as I'm here, I'd like to ask your take on something, seeing as you're a musician and all. Have you noticed that there's really no music at all at Hogwarts? Never mind the choir scene in PoA, which was apparently invented for the movie. I can understand why no one at Hogwarts studies mathematics (they have arithmancy), or physics (they defy it constantly), but why isn't there any music? It's never even mentioned as an elective.
(While pondering this one night, I suddenly had an image of Luna Lovegood playing a bassoon, and after a mental picture like that, I had no choice but to write a story.)
So, have you ever wondered about that?

(You know, I've been a computer geek for years upon years, but it still trips me out that I can have an almost real-time conversation with someone in Australia. I'll never get over that part.)
