I found out this morning that I didn't get into TAFE. I'm utterly upset about it. I really wanted to do the Music Industry course, but I just couldn't get in. Go figure. *le sigh*

When I got into Animal Care I got in on the "third round". Basically after all the rounds were offered two people dropped out and I was first on the list to be called up and ask if I still wanted to do it.

they are likely getting more applicants than they used to... but there is still second round offers... do they still do an interview for that course? the best thing about it is for you is the free use of their recording studio.
I was thinking if they still do intervies you can up your changes by hanging around the grosvenor hotel on a monday night or even a sunday (if the live performances on a sunday afternoon are still on) one of the lecturers for the course is a manager who was head of IMF (international managers forum) who meet at the grosvenor on monday nights. he was also involved with the sunday afternoon (late afternoon) accustic sessions they used to have there... though his was 7 years ago when I did the course

They never heard my lovely voice. It has nothing to do how I sing. It has everything to do with what school I went to and how many gigs I've done and my scores and so forth.

That doesn't make me feel any better. And the music industry isn't dying - it's just moving out of the Fat Cat's hands, and they don't like it. God forbid people choose what they want to listen to.

No, they didn't. And they only gave me 20 points, even though I sent in all this other stuff. I'm going to call tomorrow to see if there's any way I can appeal or send in other materials for consideration.

yaya comic. ergh io have to change a whole heap of character designs for it cos the guy i was gonna get to do modelling is piking for personal reasons *punches him* and im not good enough of an artist yet to be able to draw without some reference.

on other news, im getting better at flash drawing, yay, and im being hell random, which produces some.. interesting stuff.
