I found out this morning that I didn't get into TAFE. I'm utterly upset about it. I really wanted to do the Music Industry course, but I just couldn't get in. Go figure. *le sigh*
they are likely getting more applicants than they used to... but there is still second round offers... do they still do an interview for that course? the best thing about it is for you is the free use of their recording studio. I was thinking if they still do intervies you can up your changes by hanging around the grosvenor hotel on a monday night or even a sunday (if the live performances on a sunday afternoon are still on) one of the lecturers for the course is a manager who was head of IMF (international managers forum) who meet at the grosvenor on monday nights. he was also involved with the sunday afternoon (late afternoon) accustic sessions they used to have there... though his was 7 years ago when I did the course
