RIP Whitney Houston
Feb. 14th, 2012 02:18 amI don't even know how to write this post. This is so sad, it tears at my heart so much, I don't know what words to even use.
How can I talk about what she meant to me as a kid? I listened to her singing, I learnt *so* much about the craft. There's so much I owe to her. For a time, she was larger than life, so beautiful, so much more than the other performers.
I am so sad this horrible world tore her apart. I wanted her to make it. I wanted her to survive, and to be happy. I'm so sad and angry it ended like this.
I hope, wherever she is now, that she's at peace. And honey, I will carry what you taught me by example for the rest of my life. Your talent and light will resonate on.
I'll never forget you, Ms Houston.
