Dear Nancy,

Greenpeace would like to thank everyone who has supported ourcampaign asking Sealord to pressure it's half owner Nissui to end itswhaling activities. In just four weeks over 38,000 concernedAustralians signed our petition!

We're still putting pressure on Sealord and we are happy to announcethat they are feeling the heat. As a result of the campaign, SealordCEO Doug McKay broke a long silence and asked for a meeting withGreenpeace to discuss a way forward. Mr McKay hasstill not committed to publicly condemning commercial whaling, but themeeting is a sure sign that Sealord is taking the campaign seriously. It is clear that Sealord is very worried about the damage theirassociation with whaling might do to itsreputation and sales.

With Nissui still refusing to end their commercial whaling activities,it is essential that we keep up the pressure. Please continue to encourage your friends and family to sign our petition and say no toSealord.

YOU! Cake or death?

Weirdness...

I had some guys from Victora call me. They were from Sunshine, apparently. Which was really odd cause I didn't know that there was a place called Sunshine. They were trying to flirt with me. They were twenty. I laughed and said that they were too young for me. They're all "Yeah? You said you were too old for us! How old ARE ya?"

I said, "No, I'm not too old for you, YOU are too young for ME!" That and, "Oh darling, you couldn't keep up. You'd be over before I'd even started."

Then after some more unintelligible shouting from them I said bye-bye. God. Prank calls is all I get these days? How wrong is that?!
