Writing Quirks...

1. What do you habitually do before you start writing?
2. What helps you get/be in the mood to write?
3. Does enviornment matter? If so, what setting works for you?
4. Anything other quirkiness that would amuse us?

I gacked this off of chocolatefrogsforbreakfast (I can't remember the shortened letters).
1. Relax. Read a whole bunch of what I wrote last. Sit there and let the characters talk to each other in my head.
2. Total relaxation. Inspiration.
3. Yes. Entirely. If I don't feel comfortable where I'm writing, I can't write. I like writing on the laptop in my room, or in the toilet. I don't like writing on the computer in the kitchen anymore.
4. I always have a playlist for each story I write. I like to have a real face for any character I create so that I can see them talk and express themselves.
I'm not really that eccentric when it comes to writing. Just anal.

Another fucked up day.
Feb. 28th, 2006 07:21 pmI slept three or four hours, from eleven-thirty till 2 or 3 am. Then I was awake until 2pm. I saw Serenity.
Tina... that BITCH... NEVER TOLD ME ABOUT MR. UNIVERSE! No, not that he was in it. The OTHER thing! Imagine my SHOCK when I saw what I saw! I freaked out! Squeaks and gasps of grief ensue. I'm going to have to go to the SDKG thread and submerse myself in teh Hotness, just to get over it.
This is worse than the time I first saw Toy Soldiers. With Wil Wheaton. And the machine guns. *sniffles*.
The good thing is that the funny has seized me with a vengeance, so I'm working on recaps tonight. I'll be sipping the trusty strawberry champers and having fun. It's good so far. Some real classic faces. The only problem is that there are so many captures, I have to force myself to not pick every other picture.
But Structural Corruption is on the way. :) Fun, eh?
