Quick update.

I've been very busy lately, you may have noticed that. On the weekends I tend to spend time with the Boronia folks and Adam, (well lately I have) and in the past week I've been snoozing and resting and pampering myself in readiness for this week.

I am going to be performing at Loop Nightclub on Thursday night. It's next to Novaks, 139 James St. Northbridge. Spread the word. It's a retro dress up night, so put on some funky clothes (nothing too outlandish if you're not the type to do that) and come along for some good tunes. It's a beautiful place, a nice balcony to sit and talk on, fun people, and a funky dance floor. I'll be singing some time after midnight, and I'll be preceeded or followed by Caramello (mix_o_choc) and then Shimmer will be finishing up. I'll be singing a Tina Turner number, but I won't be singing exactly *like* Tina Turner. It's a real good number, so come along and hear me sing.

This weekend I'll be auditioning for Idol. I'm just really putting all my thought and energy into Idol, taking every little bit of nervous energy and syphoning it into determination and confidence. Cause I know I'm good enough for that show, and I know I could impress the judges if I just got to that level. I'm going to let my bull-headed no-nonsense energy back up my glittery diva and hope for the best. It's all I can do! Oh, and I'll be myself. Ever so important.

On the fan-fic front, I've been editing The Snitch, and that should be out in the next couple of weeks or so. Will let you know for sure.

I'll be a WREAK for work the next day BUT WHO CARES!!! I'll be there around 10:30pm/11pm I guess! Hmm... long glittery silver dress huh???

Can't tell you what I'll be wearing.. I've got what you could call a long blonde Rogue-Stripe in my hair though.. *grin* and I'll probably be wearing something Retro, as that's what the night calls for - perhaps a V. short skirt, opaques and something whirly on top!!

It'll be good to have someone there that'll enjoy the show! :) And dude - so jealous of the Rogue streak. If I had the guts I would have gotten one, but I'm so precious about my hair, it's very sad. LOL! I have never, ever dyed it, bleached it, or otherwise altered its colour. True story. LOL

Heh. See, I never see what I do as anything special. I always think, "Well thank God people let me go up and make a fool of myself every now and again. I need that release and they enjoy it, and I'm so blessed for that." And I've been to so many auditions, I don't really see that as a big deal either. It kinda feels like begging in some ways. LOL.
