Johnny Update

News from the hospital - Johnny is off the pressurised ventilator and just has the little plastic prongs up his nose. He's complaining about being stuck in the hospital, which is always a good sign. The doctors want to keep him in and settle down his chest, but his chest is usually rattly, it's a reality of being severely disabled with cerebral palsy. He can't swallow his spit, it gets in places it shouldn't. Anyway, they're also trying to figure out what's wrong with his stomach, whether his feeding button is the problem or whether he has a stomach ulcer. Not uncommon to get those in our family. We're all worried about him, all praying, but things are slightly less dire than they were before. We'll all be much happier when he's at home again.
