Letters...

Dear Santa,
You know, there are some years where I want so much. Either materially or emotionally or spiritually. This year, I find myself a lucky woman in abundance of all the things a person requires. I have a wonderful family that I love and love to spend time with. I have good friends that are there for me, through thick and thin. I have opportunities with my art, and my health, while not perfect, is at a manageable level and I have time to work with it. Most of all, I have a beautiful, sweet man that loves me, and makes me happier than I ever thought anybody could make me.
So I'm not asking for anything from you this year. God has given me all I need. I just hope that plenty can be given to those that need things. I mean, I do my best, shopping at op shops and so forth, but maybe my letter can grease a few karmic wheels for people? Who knows. I don't know if prayers via internet proxy work. Especially if they're addressed to Saint Nicholas. Well, you are a saint, aren't you?
There's cracks in my walls, but thankfully they're the drafty, silent type. Though I wouldn't mind if you sent the Doctor my way. Unfortunately, it would have to be a chaste meeting, because I'm very much happily dating someone right now.
Thank you, with much love,
Nancy.
