Hey everyone. I'm in a terrible mess at the moment. I have a video shoot this Saturday, for a TARDIS that's already been booked and people that have already been invited and organised to come shoot this video.

I've chipped my friggin front tooth. I look ridiculous. More importantly, it's sharp and it's fuckin' sore. Even without the TARDIS costs, I'd be screwed because I'm paying for psychologist fees out of pocket, not subsidy from the government. It's costing me 140 bucks a go, and I had to go three times this month.

I don't spend my money on much. The most frivolous thing I spent it on this week was chocolate after a particularly upsetting visit to the clin-psych. I like to make a fuss of myself on my birthday because with depression and PTSD, every year I manage to survive my problems is a year to be glad of.

What I would like to do is sell prints of some of my artworks, signed. I know times are tough for everyone, but I figure if I can sell a handful of prints at a good price on nice paper (signed with a nice pen) then maybe I can take the edge off the prohibitive costs of dental care.

Do not buy prints from that website! I won't see much money at all from that! And they won't be signed. Also, any piece tagged "DSi" or "Art Academy" is not in high enough resolution for fine prints. They're okay for small ones, though.

I'll be in touch but there will be a couple of Xena in acrylics for certain. What do we take as a guide for sizes and costs? Or would you rather discuss that by email?

Mail would probably be better for the nitty gritty. Size guides, I go about roughly standard page sizes, A4, A3, A2. If not that, then cm by cm. Smaller acrylic pieces (a page in size) are about 140, but the price as the size increases isn't exponential. Price is based on how long it takes to make the piece and materials used.

I get the best pre-stretched canvases from Jacksons for commission works, and use fine quality acrylic paints. I also work in oils, but that takes longer.
