Next time some hand-wringer says to me that people are taking too many painkillers and are drug addicts and shit, I invite them to feel the pain I felt this morning, and then feel how I feel right now, dosed up on NSAIDs and opiates.

Urgh, I hate people like that. Before I started on the pill, my periods went for anything up to ten days, were so painful I couldn't move, and sometimes came once every fortnight rather than once a month. DAMN RIGHT, I TOOK A SHITLOAD OF PAINKILLERS. It was the only way for me to function properly!
