logansrogueI had a simply splendid and healing evening with my friend Helen and her friends (not my sister Helen). We had a slumber party and watched old cartoons from our childhoods. There was something deeply carthartic about watching these shows after such a shitty day, and being immediate and childish with good friends.
I think my favourite part of the night was when we watched Jem. My friend Paul hadn't seen it before and was utterly shocked by the goings on in the episodes. It ended up in us psycho-analysing Jerrica/Jem and her split personality and issues with Rio. I was high on codeine and was pissing myself laughing. Paul couldn't quite get over Jerrica's screwing with poor Rio's mind. Hasn't even seen the episodes with Riot in them yet. Now that shit is intense.
Watched some Disney cartoon series, and I forgot how fucking funny they were. Darkwing Duck was pure awesome.
