The bitch is back!
Aug. 8th, 2002 02:35 pmWell. After some time moaning with my head between my legs, I think I've come to a point where I'm fully feeling good about myself again. But, I think Diebin will smack my bottom if she sees what I've been up to.

I've been playing again :T Well, I had a *wonderful* bitch about LotR slasher fic (I really don't like it), and then, I posted about X-Men fic that was awful. And people agreed! And someone saw my fic and said it was really great! And I'm thrilled!
I just feel so vindicated. Maybe I'm lame, but hey - right now I don't care. And nothing I've said is undeserved. If you go out and abuse a character that's been loved for over 20 years (or 50 as the LotR case may be), prepare to be able to back up your postulations in your stories. Cause you're gonna get flames from people, either way. The most important thing of course, is to love what you're doing, but if you still do it badly, expect that some people might have the gumption to tell you so. I did a story badly, I knew it too, and I acted surprised when I got an honest response from a reader, and hurt.
And then I looked at the story and realised that it really was a pile of dreck that was best kept personal. For my own enjoyment, it's a whole lot of fun. For other people, it's like watching Kelly Osbourne have one of her classic tantrums (painful). (She's not cool enough to be called Bon-bons).
Anyways, I better go pee. I've been meaning to for ages and I just haven't been able to tear myself away from writing.
I've done a new song. Go and check it out :)
