Re-watching Astroboy.

I'm watching the episode called "Frankenstein", and it occurs to me yet again how fucking *kick-arse* and wonderful Daddy Walrus is. Seriously. He believes in Robot Rights and he takes no friggin' prisoners. He'll shout your shit down and make you feel absolutely HORRIBLE for being an anti-robot bigot. He is, in short, a fuckin' hero.

He also shares a jacuzzi with Astro and Uran in one ep, and in another tells Astro he should give him "a good licking". People like me so shouldn't watch innocent cartoons from our childhood with a dirty mind.

If you've got it or can find it, watch the episode "Wreck of the Titan". It's the most disturbing piece of horror for children I have seen in my life. I can watch it now and it still creeps me out more than the average horror movie.

That's the episode The Robot President. About halfway through, the DEADCROSS party leader in a very Germanic looking foreign country CRUCIFIES DADDY WALRUS ON TOP OF A CASTLE.
